About VCCI: Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) is a national organization which assembles and represents business community, employers and business associations of all economic sectors in Vietnam. The purpose of VCCI is to protect and assist business enterprises, to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and to promote economic, commercial and technological co-operations between Vietnam and the rest of the world on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. VCCI is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization having the status of a legal entity and operating with financial autonomy. About Vnemart: The Vnemart was launched in late 2002 to help build up a bridge between Vietnamese enterprises and international business community via the medium of internet. Vnemart is envisioned to become the first national e-commerce portal whereby users can conduct the whole transaction on-line, from the first stage of looking for information, making enquiries to making orders and settling payments. The portal is aimed at assisting Vietnamese and foreign businesses to gain more market knowledge and understanding about legal and regulatory frameworks and business practices of each country and to seek for trading partners and opportunities. The portal is an efficient tool for Vietnamese enterprises to develop and expand overseas export markets and for international businesses to find out information about Vietnamese products, services and suppliers, eventually promoting and facilitating e-commerce transactions.
